Virgil Abloh, now deceased, presented the 'Louis Vuitton Handle Soft Trunk Bag' for the first time in 2021 in conjunction with LV's collaboration with the NBA, the American basketball league. During the SS22 fashion show, the handbag made a comeback again. Now Louis Vuitton reveals that the bag is returning to the permanent collection with the goal of it becoming an essential part of the male wardrobe.
Handle Soft Trunk bag will be released in two different versions. One but black calfskin and another variant with leather trimmed monogram in their Macassar canvas.
The distinctive feature of the model is the rectangular shape with metal-clad corners and associated rivets that provide structure. The bag has a leather handle and a detachable shoulder strap.
The Louis Vuitton Handle Soft Trunk bag is now available in the brand's stores and on their website for those interested.
